Improved air connectivity between Montenegro and Israel is expected to increase the influx of Israeli tourists, who have long been a staple of Montenegro’s tourism scene. Nimrod Rinot, the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Israel, made this statement during a meeting with Simonida Kordić, Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism.

As reported by the Ministry of Tourism, the meeting focused on collaboration and future initiatives in the tourism sector between the two countries. Rinot announced the introduction of direct winter flights operated by “Sandor” between Tel Aviv and Podgorica starting October 27.

He highlighted that this year, over 100,000 Israelis visited Montenegro, setting a new record. Kordić expressed her concern regarding the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, underscoring that peace and stability are priorities for everyone in Montenegro.

She thanked Rinot for his support and initiatives, emphasizing Montenegro’s commitment to nurturing its relationship with the Jewish community.
