Continuation of copper exports from Serbia via Montecargo and the Port of Bar

The port of Bar and the state company for freight railway transport Montecargo in Montenegro were visited by representatives of the Chinese company Zijin and the logistics company Trans Cargo Logistic (TCL) from Belgrade, with whom they discussed the continuation of cooperation in the transport and transshipment of copper concentrate from Bor.

As stated in the press release from the meeting, Slobodan Macić from TCL, as the logistician of this work, proposed to the Chinese delegation a contract for at least three years, which would create stronger conditions for the planned investments of all participants.

The delegation of the company Zijin was led by vice president Lin Honging, and the company TCL was led by Mihailo Vukićević. The partners performing work for Zijin on this traffic line are Srbija Kargo, Montecargo, TCL and Luka Bar, according to the announcement.

The President of the Board of Directors of the Port of Bar, Darko Pekić, emphasized the importance of this business project for the Montenegrin maritime and railway economy, as well as for all related activities.

The President of the Management Board of Montecargo Miroslav Brajović expressed great satisfaction that the Chinese delegation showed great confidence in Montenegrin companies in this business.
The executive director of the company Montecargo Dušanka Dragojević stated that this company can transport 60,000 tons per month with high quality and success.
