Ahead of the tourist season, Ulcinj officials held a press conference to outline key measures for improving tourism management. The Municipality, Tourist Organization, and Ministry of Tourism emphasized better tourist registration, efficient tourist tax collection, and enhanced inspections.

Mayor Genci Nimanbegu noted a 4% increase in registered tourists compared to last year, highlighting the tourist tax as essential for service planning and promotion. Ćazim Hodžić, head of the Tourist Organization, reported an 8.8% rise in registered visitors from June 1–23, with most tourists coming from Kosovo, Serbia, Germany, and other countries.
