Tourist arrivals in Tivat show significant growth, led by Russian visitors

In Tivat, according to data from the Tourism Organization, there was a recorded visit of 1.62 thousand tourists.

Out of the total number, 27 arrivals were from domestic tourists, while as many as 1.59 thousand were foreign visitors, reports Radio Tivat.

Hotels recorded 101 arrivals, a decrease of 22 percent compared to 2023. However, there is still a solid growth of 86 percent compared to 2019.

The largest contribution to the tourist traffic comes from private accommodation, which hosted 1.52 thousand guests, all of whom were foreign tourists. This represents a significant increase of 20 percent compared to 2023 and a remarkable 159 percent growth compared to 2019.

In terms of guest origin, Russian tourists make up the largest share, accounting for 32.04 percent of the total number of visitors, followed by tourists from Serbia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine.

A smaller percentage of visitors came from the United Kingdom, the United States and Croatia.
