Tourist arrivals in Montenegro rise 13% in September, surpassing pre-pandemic levels

According to the Montenegrin Statistical Office (Monstat), Montenegro recorded 313,390 tourist arrivals in September, representing a 13.28 percent increase compared to the same month last year.

Tourists achieved 1.76 million overnight stays, up 6.63 percent year-on-year.

Monstat also reported that, compared to the record year 2019, the number of tourists was 7.87 percent higher, while overnight stays increased by 5.13 percent, confirming continued growth in the country’s tourism sector.
