Tivat records 6,420 tourists, marking growth over last year and 2019

Currently, 6,420 tourists are staying in Tivat, 14 percent more than the same period last year and 43 percent more compared to 2019, according to the local Tourist Organization.

Of the total, only 69 are domestic visitors. Private accommodation leads with 5,230 guests, up 10 percent from last year and 43 percent from 2019. Hotels host 1,140 tourists, a 36 percent increase year-on-year. Campsites reported only 8 visitors, while resorts had 51.

The largest share of foreign tourists comes from Serbia with 1,300 guests (24.9 percent), followed by Russia with 1,010 (19.3 percent), and the United Kingdom with 352 (6.7 percent). Other notable markets include Turkey, Germany, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Azerbaijan, and the United States.
