By July and the peak of this year’s tourist season, the Tivat–Jaz boulevard route must be better organized and an additional three kilometers paved to ensure that both citizens and tourists have a more comfortable and safer approach to Tivat Airport and an improved experience on the Montenegrin coast, said Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
“At the meeting I initiated with the contractor and partners on this strategic infrastructure project, we analyzed the key challenges in the construction of the boulevard, aiming to minimize disruption during the height of the season on one of the country’s busiest roads,” he wrote on the social media platform X. According to him, five out of the planned 15.5 kilometers of the boulevard have been paved so far.
“We must work at full speed throughout the entire year so that by next summer we can welcome visitors with better roads and fewer traffic jams,” Spajić concluded.
