The total turnover achieved on the Montenegro Stock Exchange in January amounted to EUR 894,137

The total turnover achieved on the Montenegro Stock Exchange in January amounted to EUR 894,137 and was 93.10% lower than the previous month. Compared to January last year, turnover increased by 302.14%.

– The average daily turnover in January was EUR 52,596, and the largest part of the turnover, i.e. 72.82% was achieved on the free market – it is stated in the Bulletin of the Montenegro Stock Exchange.

As the data show, 229 transactions were concluded during 17 trading days in January. In the same period last year, during 13 trading days in January 2022, 55 transactions were concluded.

– Total turnover on the prime market in January was EUR 63,634 and 35 transactions were concluded. In the same period, 117 transactions were realized on the standard market, and the turnover amounted to EUR 177,046 – data show.

In the first month of 2023, 73 transactions were concluded on the free market, and the turnover amounted to EUR 651,148. The total turnover on the MTP ME market amounted to EUR 2,308 and four transactions were concluded.

– During January, the total turnover of issuers’ shares that make up the MNSE 10 index amounted to EUR 738,282, which is 82.57% of the total turnover on the Montenegro Stock Exchange. The total number of transactions by issuers of the MNSE 10 index was 198, which is 86.46% of all transactions in this month – it is stated in the Bulletin.

At the end of January, the MNSE10 index had a value of 1,034.40 points, and compared to the same period of the previous year, it increased by 33.22%.

The MONEX Index was 14,512.05 points, which is a 45.54% higher value compared to the same month last year.

– The total market capitalization of shares as of January 31, 2023 was EUR 3.57 billion. Compared to January of the previous year, the market capitalization increased by 374.74 million, i.e. by 11.72% – it is concluded in the monthly Bulletin of the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
