Objects of general interest whose technical documentation was completed in the previous period will be exempted from the application of Eurocodes, the Government announced.
The information on this rule was adopted at yesterday’s session, and as explained, the exception is objects of general interest – complex engineering objects for which the technical documentation was prepared and fully positively revised by December 31st, 2022, and for which the tender procedure is for the selection of the contractor ended on that date.
– For those projects, it is not necessary to harmonize the technical documentation with the application of Eurocodes (EN 1990-EN1999), and on the basis of the previously prepared and positively revised main project, a building permit can be issued, with the fulfillment of other conditions established by law – the information emphasized.
Given that these projects are implemented with financial resources provided within the capital budget of Montenegro, and from the funds of credit lines of international financial institutions, it is clear that a renewed design process would require, first of all, a slowing down of the implementation of the given projects, and delays in their dynamics and new costs in design and revision.
