The President of the Assembly, Andrija Mandić, stated at a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević that a better joint future must be built on the foundations of a healthy economy, cooperation at all levels and improved infrastructure connectivity.
He emphasized that this brotherly meeting is of great importance for strengthening the relationship between the two closest countries in the region – Serbia and Montenegro.
Mandić expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, which took place on Christmas Day and the anniversary of the famous Battle of Mojkovac.
The two leaders discussed numerous projects of the Municipality of Mojkovac, primarily the Memorial Center dedicated to the Battle of Mojkovac, as well as the complex replica of the medieval town of Brskovo.
During the meeting, Mandić and Vučević also talked about major infrastructure projects, including the Belgrade-Bar highway, the reconstruction of the Belgrade-Bar railway in Montenegro, and the future development of the Port of Bar.
The participants agreed that the construction of a section connecting Andrijevica and Duge Poljane should ideally be presented as a joint project between Montenegro and Serbia through an international tender.
The meeting was also attended by the President of the Municipality of Mojkovac, Vesko Delić.
