Since the start of this year, Sozina Tunnel has served 1.26 million vehicles. According to Monteput data, which manages the tunnel, 3.78 million vehicles passed through it in 2024.
In 2023, traffic was 3.52 million vehicles, up from 3.07 million in 2022.

Opened in July 2005, the Sozina Tunnel is 4.19 kilometers long and connects Montenegro’s coastal region with its central area. The construction cost approximately €74 million, with Montenegro funding €50 million and the European Investment Bank providing a €24 million loan.
