The company Solpeco from Nikšić plans to build a 31.29 MW solar power plant in the city.
According to the urban-technical conditions proposal adopted by the Montenegrin government, the future plant will be constructed on several land plots located in the Gradačka Poljana, Orah, and Granice cadastral municipalities.

Analyses conducted by the investor determined that 31.29 MW is the maximum feasible capacity for the project.
As some existing structures are located on the land, their removal will require approval from the competent inspection authority, the document states.
