The President of the Bosniak Party and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović, visited the Rožaje ski resort Turjak.
During his visit, Ibrahimović praised the management of the Hajla Ski Center, stating that Rožaje will be restored as a regional center for winter tourism and ski sports.
“Excellent slope, great atmosphere, and good attendance at Turjak 2. All praise for the employees and management of the Hajla Ski Center – Rožaje. Skiing and tourism, in general, have a bright future in Rožaje and the north of Montenegro,” Ibrahimović wrote on X.
He emphasized that ensuring sustainable living in Rožaje and the northern region should be a top priority of the government’s economic policy. This is crucial to prevent the entry into the EU and free access to the European labor market from becoming a demographic “atomic bomb” that could lead to depopulation in the north of Montenegro, the country as a whole, and among the Bosniak population in Montenegro.
“We will bring Rožaje back to the center of regional winter tourism and ski sports. We are fighting for an independent, civic, European, and Euro-Atlantic Montenegro, but with Bosniaks (and all citizens of Montenegro) living in Montenegro, not in the diaspora,” Ibrahimović stated.
