Record business of HG Budva Riviera

The hotel group (HG) Budva Riviera for the first 7 months of this year achieved EUR 2 million more revenue compared to the same period last year, which is an absolute record in the history of their business. The group’s plan is to launch an investment cycle in order to upgrade all accommodation facilities in Slovenska beach from three to four stars.

This was announced by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, who visited the Budva Riviera with the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović.

The ambition is to start an investment cycle that would result in all accommodation facilities in Slovenska beach being raised from three to four stars.

– The Government of Montenegro provides unreserved support to all projects aimed at improving the tourist offer of both Budva and Montenegro. I would like to thank the president of the board of directors, Mijomir Pejović, the executive director, Jovica Gregović, as well as all the employees of HG Budva Riviera, for the successful cooperation that we continuously achieve – said Abazović.

As announced by the Government, Abazović emphasized at the meeting the importance of responsible management of state-owned enterprises because, as he said, this is what is expected from the management structures appointed by the Government.

The management of this state-owned company informed the prime minister about the results, emphasizing that the revenues from arrangements for the first 10 days of August were EUR 340,000, or 22% higher compared to the same period in 2019, while the revenues from arrangements in July were EUR 609,000, or 15% more than in 2019.

The company said that for the seven months of this year, the basic income is EUR 2.2 million higher than for the same period in 2019, which, they pointed out, is an increase of 22%.

They informed the prime minister and the minister about the activities they are implementing in terms of the company’s development plan and presented the existing offer with an emphasis on what Slovenska beach offers this season.
