Reconstruction work is underway on the Plužine–Nikšić–Danilovgrad main road, specifically the 15 km Zaborje–Jasenovo Polje section. The project is carried out by Mehanizacija i Programat from Nikšić, with a contract value of 12.37 million euros excluding VAT.
The investor is the Directorate for Traffic, and Građevinski nadzor i laboratorijska ispitivanja from Podgorica oversees technical supervision. This is the first phase of the project, with the tender launched in May last year.

Once completed, the upgraded road will improve traffic flow, safety, and connectivity for residents of Nikšić and Plužine, as well as accommodate increased summer tourist and transit traffic.
