Port of Bar records 7% decline in cargo handling in first half of 2025

In the first half of the year, the Port of Bar handled a total of 849,140 tons of cargo, which is 7% less compared to 914,820 tons during the same period last year, according to the MINA agency.

The business plan had projected 995,000 tons for this period, resulting in an 85% realization rate.

There was a noticeable decline in bulk cargo handling, while liquid and general cargo volumes increased compared to the previous year.

Out of the total cargo handled, 656,470 tons were bulk cargo, 142,950 tons liquid cargo, and 49,730 tons general cargo.
