Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has canceled all flights between Podgorica and the cities of Ankara (ESB) and Izmir (ADB) until November 29, according to a statement from Airports of Montenegro.

Despite these cancellations, the airline continues to operate its Podgorica–Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) route, which connects Montenegro’s capital with Istanbul’s Asian-side international airport.

Meanwhile, all scheduled operations between Podgorica, Tivat, and Istanbul’s main airport (IST) are continuing as planned, served by Montenegro’s national airline, Air Montenegro, and major global carrier Turkish Airlines.

Airports of Montenegro emphasized that the Turkish market remains one of the most important for the country’s aviation sector, second only to Serbia.
