A total of 576 vessels are currently listed in Montenegro’s Yacht Registry, according to the latest data from the Maritime Safety Administration. This is 40 more than in May, representing an increase of 7.5% in just three months.
Compared with the end of 2025, when the registry contained 525 yachts, the number of vessels has risen by 51, or 9.7%.
Most of this growth came from yachts owned by Serbian individuals or companies. Their number increased from 165 to 193, meaning they now account for 33.5% of the entire registry.
Russian owners rank second with 112 yachts, five fewer than in May, while 79 vessels are registered to owners from Montenegro. Serbian and Russian owners together hold 305 yachts—almost 53% of all registered vessels.
The registry also includes 27 yachts owned by individuals or companies from the United States, 21 from Ukraine, 18 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 11 from Israel and 10 from Germany. Owners from Switzerland and Estonia have nine yachts each, while those from the United Kingdom have eight.
Of the 576 registered yachts, 497 belong to owners from outside Montenegro. This means that vessels owned by Montenegrin individuals or companies account for just 13.7% of the registry.
