Montenegro’s unemployment drops to 29,150 in April as hiring gains momentum

At the end of April, Montenegro recorded 29,150 unemployed individuals, marking a 2.7% decrease compared to March, according to data from the Employment Agency (ZZZ).

The unemployment rate stood at 10.24% at the end of March, down from 12.88% in the same month last year.

Over the first four months of this year, the Employment Agency registered 3,520 newly employed individuals.

During the same period, a total of 9,000 job vacancies were advertised.
