Montenegro’s Public Enterprise for Coastal Management plans multi-million investments in Herceg Novi for 2026

Montenegro’s Public Enterprise for Coastal Management has announced plans to allocate multi-million-euro funding in 2026 for capital projects in the municipality of Herceg Novi.

During a meeting between the director of the Coastal Management Enterprise, Mladen Mikijelj, and Herceg Novi’s mayor, Stevan Katić, key development priorities and projects in the coastal area were discussed, focusing on improving coastal infrastructure and tourism facilities.

It was agreed that the majority of the municipality’s proposals will be included in next year’s funding plan, with particular emphasis on projects that enhance protection, organization, and sustainable development of the coastal zone.

“These investments will provide a significant boost for the further development of Herceg Novi and the valorization of coastal assets for the benefit of residents and visitors,” the Coastal Management Enterprise stated.
