Montenegro’s mobile subscribers reach 1.5 million, driven by postpaid growth

At the end of July, Montenegro had 1.5 million mobile phone users, marking a 6.68% increase compared to June.

This number represents a mobile penetration rate of 242.1%, according to the report by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP). Compared to the same period last year, the number of users in July rose by 1.79%.

Postpaid users accounted for 56% of the total, while prepaid users made up 44%.

Among mobile operators, M:tel had the largest share with 644,550 users (42.69%), followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 517,800 users (34.3%), and One with 347,460 users (23.01%).

In terms of postpaid users specifically, Crnogorski Telekom had 39.17%, M:tel 36.54%, and One 24.29%.
