Montenegro’s industrial production sees significant growth in Q4 2024

Industrial production in Montenegro increased by 15.3% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, according to data from Monstat.

  • Compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, the mining and quarrying sector saw an 11% growth, the manufacturing sector grew by 30.5%, while the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector experienced a decline of 1.5%, the statement says.

Industrial production in Montenegro in the fourth quarter of 2024 also saw a significant 46.1% increase compared to the third quarter of the same year.

  • In comparison to the third quarter of 2024, the mining and quarrying sector declined by 1.5%, the manufacturing sector grew by 47.4%, and the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector saw a rise of 63.5%, the statement concludes.
