Montenegro’s industrial producer prices rise by 2.3% in Q1 compared to last year

In the first quarter of this year, industrial producer prices in Montenegro increased by 2.3% compared to the same period last year, according to data from Monstat.

Statisticians reported that the mining and quarrying sectors saw a rise of 2.4%, while the manufacturing industry recorded an increase of 3.6%.

Prices in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector remained unchanged on average, staying at the same level as in the first quarter of last year, according to the statement.

In comparison to the last quarter of the previous year, industrial producer prices in Montenegro grew by 0.7% in the first quarter.

When compared to the fourth quarter of last year, the mining and quarrying sectors and the manufacturing industry recorded increases of 1.3% and 0.9%, respectively.

Prices in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sector also remained unchanged, staying at the same level as in the fourth quarter of last year.
