Montenegro’s banking sector sees strong profits in 2024

All 11 commercial banks in Montenegro reported positive results at the end of last year, with a total profit of €161.4 million.

The highest profit of €60.09 million was achieved by Crnogorska komercijalna banka, followed by NLB with €27.75 million and Hipotekarna banka with €18.46 million, according to data published on the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) website.

Erste Bank posted a profit of €17.54 million, Adriatic Bank €16.61 million, and Universal Capital Bank €7 million.

At the end of the year, the profit of Zapad Bank was €5.05 million, Lovćen Bank €4.7 million, Addiko Bank €3.07 million, and Ziraat Bank €1.09 million.
