At the end of September, Montenegro recorded 27.05 thousand unemployed persons, a 0.7% decrease compared to August, according to data from the Employment Agency (ZZZ).
The unemployment rate stood at 8.93% at the end of August, down from 10.96% in the same month last year.

During the first nine months of 2025, the Employment Agency registered 8.58 thousand newly employed individuals.
Over the same period, employers advertised 17.79 thousand job vacancies.
