Montenegro, Tourism is blooming even in January

In January, 32.18 thousand arrivals and 81.06 thousand overnight stays of tourists were realized in collective accommodation in Montenegro, according to Monstat’s preliminary data.

“Out of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 71 percent were made by foreigners, and 29 percent by domestic tourists,” the announcement states.

In the structure of overnight stays by type of tourist places in January, the most overnight stays were achieved in coastal towns 61.8 percent, the capital 17.5 percent, mountain towns 13.8 percent and other towns 6.9 percent.

Collective accommodation facilities include hotels, boarding houses, motels, tourist settlements, resorts, hostels and camps and does not include individual, so-called private accommodation – accommodation in houses and rooms for rent, as well as in tourist apartments.
