The construction of the Breza hotel complex in Kolašin is progressing according to plan, and EUR 7.65 million was invested in the hotel until November of last year. According to earlier announcements by the investor, the CG Resort company , the total value of the investment is around EUR 20 million.
Let us remind you that the construction of this hotel complex, the first with five stars in Kolašin, began in the middle of 2020, and this facility was included in the list of development projects in the field of tourism. It will have 161 accommodation units, of which 144 rooms and 17 apartments. A maximum of 324 guests will be able to stay in the future hotel.
As announced by the Government, the Audit Company Crowe MNE submitted the third and fourth reports regarding the realization of the project of building this hotel based on the condo business model.
The third report covers the period from November 7, 2020 to May 7, 2021, while the fourth report covers the period from May 7 to November 7, 2021. The final version of both reports was submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, whose jurisdiction was transferred to the list of development projects in the field of tourism within the framework of the “economic citizenship” program, on May 13, 2022.
When it comes to the third report, total investments in the realization of the project were confirmed in the amount of 1.51 million EUR, 1,512,086 EUR, on the basis of which the amount of 1,511,900 EUR was paid to the suppliers in the mentioned period.
As for the total investments of investors, according to the data from the report, they amount to EUR 4.78 million until May 7, 2021.
It is also indicated that this report mostly refers to the winter period when, due to weather conditions and an unusually long winter, the works were suspended, and that the conditions for the continuation of construction works were met in the second half of 2021, when they continued as planned. dynamics.
When it comes to the fourth report, the costs in the implementation of the project for the services incurred in this period were confirmed in the total net amount of EUR 2.86 million.
As for the total investments of investors, according to the data from the report, they amount to EUR 7.65 million on November 7.
In accordance with the expanded methodology for monitoring development projects in the field of tourism, which was adopted at the session of the Government of Montenegro on October 7, 2021, in addition to the controller’s report, two new procedures were introduced in the procedure for monitoring the development of projects, namely the report on the state of work on the project , and a tour of the location.
– Consequently, a report on the state of works on the project for the period from May 2020 to May 2022 was submitted. Additionally, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism toured the site in question on November 4 this year and noted that work on the building, i.e. work on the building’s facade, is underway, and that work on the interior of the building has begun – the information provided by adopted by the Government, local media writes.
