Montenegro strengthens maritime cooperation with UN ahead of offshore sailing regatta

Montenegro and the United Nations have reinforced their mutually beneficial cooperation, following a meeting between Minister Filip Radulović and UN Resident Coordinator in Montenegro, Karolina Tisot Baranzini.

Minister Radulović emphasized the importance of dialogue and partnership in the maritime sector to enhance regional stability and economic development. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration through joint business initiatives.

The UN expressed readiness to support Montenegro in drafting laws and regulations, providing valuable resources for stability.

Additionally, the UN will support Montenegro’s participation in an offshore sailing regatta in Tivat next week, with the country hosting the final race from September 15 to 21, highlighting Montenegro’s role in global sailing and sustainability.
