Montenegro strengthens economic ties with Belgium and promotes EU investment opportunities

Montenegro is strongly committed to accelerating economic reforms and creating a secure and stable investment environment for reliable investors from European Union (EU) countries, stated Deputy Prime Minister Nik Đeljošaj.

He also emphasized Montenegro’s dedication to strengthening economic cooperation with Belgium.

Đeljošaj met today with the Belgian Ambassador to Montenegro, Frederik Develter, welcoming him and wishing him success in his upcoming mandate.

During the meeting, Đeljošaj highlighted the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as cooperation within NATO, and expressed gratitude to Belgium for its continued support of Montenegro’s EU integration process.

“For Montenegro, EU integration is an indispensable goal, not only due to its strategic importance but also because of the values it represents. In this context, investments from Belgium and other EU member states hold dual significance,” Đeljošaj said.

Both sides expressed their commitment to working together to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
