Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced that the government has created conditions to finalize bilateral agreements with France and Hungary, signaling the country’s readiness to strengthen cooperation not only at the EU level but also bilaterally.
The agreement with France focuses on priority projects in infrastructure, telecommunications, health, energy, public administration reform, and innovation. It includes provisions for project identification, financial support (grants, loans, guarantees), and cooperation on key initiatives such as building a new Clinical Center in Podgorica, modernizing the power grid, and developing renewable energy and digital infrastructure.
With Hungary, the government approved a cooperation agreement focused on infrastructure development, particularly road and rail transport. The agreement outlines mutual obligations, funding mechanisms, and legal frameworks, aiming to enhance economic connectivity and development between the two countries.
Additionally, the government approved the basis for signing a cooperation agreement with Ukraine, reaffirming Montenegro’s support and commitment to closer bilateral ties.
