Montenegro, solution to the economic citizenship program will be presented to the Brussels administration

The economic citizenship program brought financial benefits to the budget of Montenegro, and on the day of the conclusion of this program, the realization of 16 projects in the field of tourism and one in the field of agriculture is underway, announced the State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Agron Ibrahimi.

The value of the projects Is almost EUR 450 million, and Montenegro will soon present a new economic citizenship project proposal to the Brussels administration.

– These are total investments of EUR 444.2 million, with a capacity of 2,764 high-category accommodation units. These are the business plans of the investors, according to which they plan to open 1,847 new jobs – Ibrahimi announced.

Ten of the total of 16 projects are part of the north of Montenegro – one in Žabljak, nine in Kolašin. As Ibrahimi stated, the planned value of those investments is 133.3 million euros, and 882 new jobs will be created.
