Montenegro sees strong tourist arrivals and overnight stays in November

In November, Montenegro recorded 57,540 arrivals and 134,570 overnight stays in collective accommodation, according to preliminary data from Monstat.

“Of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 76.9% were by foreign tourists, while 23.1% were by domestic tourists,” the statement said.

In terms of overnight stays by type of tourist destination, the majority occurred in coastal areas, with 76.2%, followed by the capital city with 16.6%, other destinations with 3.9%, and mountain destinations with 3.3%.

Collective accommodation facilities include hotels, pensions, motels, tourist resorts, holiday homes, hostels and campsites, but exclude individual or private accommodation such as rental homes, rooms, or tourist apartments.
