In September 2025, households in Montenegro consumed 104,405,130 kWh of electricity, representing a 27.09% decrease compared to August 2025 and a 1.89% decrease compared to September 2024, according to the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG).
The average electricity bill for households in Montenegro (excluding unrecorded meters in properties that are not permanently occupied) amounted to €28.51 in September. Households in Pljevlja recorded the lowest average consumption at €19.43, while the highest average bill was registered in Ulcinj, where households consumed electricity worth €36.57 on average.
Regarding bill distribution: 69.97% of households received a bill up to €30, 17.25% paid between €30 and €50, 10.07% between €50 and €100, and 2.27% of consumers had bills exceeding €100.
Additionally, 182,598 households, or 44.85% of all households in Montenegro, received a 38% discount on active energy. Another 44,971 consumers, or 11.05%, benefited from a 21.5% discount on active energy. Furthermore, 260,271 consumers, representing 63.95%, received an additional 6.4% discount on network services.
