Montenegro records over 1 million tourist overnight stays in July, majority by foreign visitors

In Montenegro, collective accommodation facilities recorded 234,400 tourist arrivals and 1.04 million overnight stays in July, according to preliminary data from Monstat.

Of the total overnight stays in collective accommodation, 90.8% were by foreign tourists, while 9.2% were by domestic visitors.

In terms of location, the majority of overnight stays were in coastal areas (92.9%), followed by the capital city (3.7%), mountain destinations (2.2%), and other locations (1.2%).

Collective accommodation includes hotels, guesthouses, motels, resorts, holiday centers, hostels, and camps, but does not cover private accommodation such as rental homes, rooms, or tourist apartments.
