Montenegro ready to enhance economic cooperation with Bulgaria through improved air connectivity

Montenegro is ready to foster and improve economic cooperation with Bulgaria, with a focus on better air connectivity, according to the Minister of Transport, Maja Vukićević, during a meeting with Bulgarian Ambassador Stefan Dimitrov.

During the meeting, it was announced that Montenegro is prepared to establish direct flight connections with Bulgaria, and several models of air connectivity were proposed.

The Ministry of Transport highlighted that the meeting also addressed issues related to transportation links and support for the development of transportation and tourism, with discussions on priority areas that could be enhanced through cooperation between Montenegro and Bulgaria.

Vukićević also briefed Dimitrov on current and future infrastructure projects planned by the Ministry of Transport and the Government of Montenegro.

The meeting followed a recent official visit by Vukićević and the Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić, to Bulgaria, and serves as a confirmation of the strong relations between the two countries.
