Montenegro: Number of companies with websites rises to 87% in 2025

In Montenegro, the number of companies with a website has increased over the past five years, from 2021 to 2025, according to research conducted by Monstat.

The percentage of companies that have a website this year stands at 87.3 percent.

This represents an increase of 2.7 percentage points compared to 2021, when the figure was 84.6 percent, stated Monstat in its report titled “Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Enterprises.”

In Montenegro, 100 percent of surveyed companies reported having internet access.

Monstat emphasized that the data refers only to enterprises that use the internet in their business operations during the current year.

Among companies with a website, 78.8 percent stated that they provide access to product catalogs and price lists, while 67.4 percent have links or references to their social media profiles.

Of the companies with internet access, 99.2 percent said they use DSL or another type of fixed broadband connection.

Mobile broadband connections are used by 82.8 percent of companies, representing an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous year.
