The Croatian ferry “Dalmacija” operated by Jadrolinija, departing from Bar to Bari on its maiden voyage, left Bar port with a five-hour delay, Pobjeda reports.

According to the sailing schedule, the ferry was supposed to depart at 11:00 AM, but despite completing boarding on time, administrative formalities delayed the departure by five hours, and the ferry set sail shortly after 4:00 PM. The Bar-Bari maritime line was established today and will operate until early September, Minister of Maritime Affairs Filip Radulović said earlier.

“This is another maritime line established by the current government, representing a significant step in developing Montenegro’s maritime infrastructure,” Radulović stated.

The Bar-Bari line was launched in cooperation with the renowned Croatian carrier Jadrolinija. “This route provides security and sustainability in passenger and cargo transport. Every new line contributes to strengthening our economy, developing tourism, and opening new opportunities for citizens and businesses,” Radulović added.
