Montenegro gets new megawatts thanks to solar energy

The construction of another solar power plant in Montenegro has been announced, and the company TM Invest from Podgorica is behind this investment.

The investment is planned at two locations in Boegtići on the territory of the municipality of Nikšić, and according to the analyzes conducted by this company, it was determined that approx. 18 MW (alternating current) is the maximum possible capacity of the future solar power plant.

As it was announced, at yesterday’s session, the Government issued the urban planning and technical conditions for the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of this energy facility.

It was established that the applicant obtained all the necessary consents from the competent institutions and authorities, which fulfilled the conditions for issuing the UTU – the announcement states.
