Montenegro extends price-limiting initiative to April 30th

Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development, Nik Đeljošaj, announced that the government has extended the “Limited Prices” initiative during today’s session.

According to Đeljošaj, the prices of the same items as in the previous phase of the initiative, which ends tomorrow, will be reduced.

“We have extended this initiative until April 30, with the same items as in the previous period,” he said.

He emphasized that the goal of the initiative is to halt the rising prices of essential goods. Additionally, he mentioned that the Ministry is preparing further measures alongside the price-limiting actions.

“All statistical data shows that there has been no inflation in the previous period, and prices have stabilized,” he added.
