The purpose of the structural survey on company operations is to calculate indicators necessary for analyzing the structure of business activities, the structure of inputs and outputs of the production process, business performance, and the competitiveness of economic entities.

Turnover, as explained by statisticians, covers recorded revenues from the sale of goods and services excluding value-added tax (VAT). Gross production value represents the market value of all goods and services produced. Intermediate consumption at purchase prices is the value of products and services that are transformed, used, or consumed during the production process.

Gross added value represents the difference between gross production value and intermediate consumption.
