The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO) introduced its latest tourism offerings at the ITB China 2024 exhibition, hosted within the European Travel Commission (ETC) booth.
Described as one of the premier B2B exhibitions targeting the Chinese market, this year’s event attracted participants from across the tourism spectrum, including international and domestic tourism organizations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and numerous media outlets.
During the fair’s opening day, a presentation drew over 40 representatives from China’s tourism industry and media sector.
Lazar Miranović, a member of NTO’s Executive Board, expressed satisfaction with Montenegro’s representation at the Shanghai event, highlighting the country’s strong showing.
Miranović noted the significant interest demonstrated by China’s economy in Montenegro and the broader region. He believes that the deepening ties between our region and China will facilitate the rapid recovery of our tourism market post-pandemic.
Throughout the fair’s second day, representatives from NTO and Montenegro’s tourism industry engaged in meetings with their Chinese counterparts. These discussions provided insights into the diverse travel opportunities available in Montenegro.
