Traffic Administration announces tender for Rožaje bypass construction

The Traffic Administration has opened a tender for the construction of the Rožaje bypass, focusing on the remaining works of Phase II, which measures 2.6 kilometers. This phase will connect the main road from Berane to Rožaje at Dimiškin with the already completed Phase I and the regional road to Peć at Crnja.

As stated in the announcement, the estimated value of the project is approximately 12 million euros, including VAT.

The timeline for completion is specified to be no shorter than 350 days and no longer than 450 calendar days from the date the contractor begins work.

The Administration noted that part of the construction was previously handled by Euro-asfalt and its partners, but that contract was eventually terminated.

  • The purpose of the Rožaje bypass is to relocate transit traffic away from the city, emphasized the Traffic Administration.
