Compared to the previous month, the number of users increased by 0.74%, and there was a year-on-year increase of 7.43%. Of the total users, 51.06% (813,758) are postpaid customers, while 48.94% (780,119) are prepaid users.
Breaking down the mobile user statistics, Mtel leads with 651,833 users, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 554,729 users and One Crna Gora with 387,315 users. The market shares are as follows:
- Mtel: 40.90%
- Crnogorski Telekom: 34.80%
- One Crna Gora: 24.30%
When comparing these figures to the same period last year, Mtel’s market share has increased by 3.22%, with the current distribution being:
- Mtel: 37.68%
- Crnogorski Telekom: 35.33%
- One Crna Gora: 26.99%
Among the 813,758 postpaid users, Crnogorski Telekom had 329,493, Mtel had 284,945, and One Crna Gora had 199,320. For the prepaid users, Mtel had 366,888, Crnogorski Telekom had 225,236 and One Crna Gora had 187,995.
Additionally, the total number of fixed-line telephone connections at the end of September was 190,310, showing a slight decrease of 0.08% (145 connections) from August. The breakdown of fixed-line connections is as follows:
