Montenegro and Serbia to strengthen cooperation on railway infrastructure

Serbia is eager to enhance cooperation with Montenegro, particularly in infrastructure projects, as highlighted by Minister of Transport Maja Vukićević.

During a meeting today with Nebojša Rodić, the Serbian ambassador to Montenegro, Vukićević received a letter from Serbian Minister for Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesić.

Vukićević informed Rodić that Montenegro is interested in acquiring new trains for its railway system. She mentioned that some of the current trains, based on information from Montecargo, are undergoing maintenance in Serbia.

She expressed optimism that the turnaround time for servicing and repairs would be shorter than in the past, aiming for a swift return of the missing train sets to operation.
