“When we commit to employing 3,000 people, we mean it. This will have a profound economic impact on Berane,” he emphasized.

Steinmiller mentioned they are currently awaiting a meeting schedule with the government.

“The government recognizes the importance of this project. We will inject EUR 100 million, marking it as the largest private investment ever in Montenegro,” Steinmiller affirmed.

They describe their strategy as developing a private-public partnership, which he views as the most transparent option.

“They have already demonstrated their financial readiness to complete this project. All teams are prepared (architects, builders), so upon receiving approval, we can commence immediately,” Steinmiller stressed.

He highlighted that every airport serves as the country’s ambassador, forming tourists’ initial and final impressions.

“We have finalized the design with an Italian architectural firm. While we acknowledge the issues with surrounding cottages, we plan to construct apartments where people can reside free of charge for 6 months until new accommodations are ready,” Steinmiller added.
