The prestigious magazine Harper’s Bazaar has featured Montenegro in its July issue and on its social media profiles, with an article titled “Ultimate Luxury Travel Guide to Montenegro.”

According to the National Tourism Organization (NTO), the report was authored by journalist Marie-Claire Chappet. In the subtitle, Chappet praises Montenegro’s stunning landscapes and refined glamour, before detailing the benefits of its coastal and mountainous regions, their proximity, and the experiences they offer.

“Montenegro is a true adventure story you create yourself: green slopes and snow-covered mountains offer an almost alpine experience, historic towns with cobbled streets and medieval monasteries, fortresses, and labyrinthine passages with cats in the windowsills, unexpected vineyards in lush valleys, and islands in the sea with numerous picturesque churches. Montenegro exudes luxury – glamorous marinas, stunning five-star palace hotels, and elegant, chic beach bars,” the article describes.

Chappet emphasizes that the most luxurious aspect of Montenegro is its status as a relatively untouched holiday destination.

“The authenticity of the place gives everything an extra energy,” Chappet adds.

The online edition of Harper’s Bazaar attracts over 180,000 daily readers who are passionate about fashion, travel, and luxury living. Each issue features exclusive interviews with leading women in film, art, fashion, and business.

Travel features are among the most popular on the portal, and the article on Montenegro includes captivating photos from Kotor, Perast, Porto Montenegro, and the Bay of Kotor. It also offers practical advice on what to visit, where to dine, and must-do excursions.

In addition to its natural beauty, rich culinary offerings, and reasonable prices, Montenegro is recommended for its improving direct air connections with several UK cities to both Montenegrin airports.

Describing a luxurious stay in Porto Montenegro as an unforgettable experience, the author also highlights other luxury resorts like One & Only Portonovi and The Chedi on the Luštica peninsula.

Chappet concludes with the impression that “the true luxury lies in how untouched the vast expanse of nature is,” which distinguishes and recommends Montenegro as a travel destination.
