The Government of Montenegro has approved the Tourism Incentive Program for 2024, comprising five support measures, with the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO CG) spearheading two of them. These initiatives aim to boost MICE tourism development and enhance organized air arrivals through joint marketing campaigns with tour operators.

According to NTO CG, the measure targeting organized air arrivals through joint marketing campaigns applies to tour operators operating regular flights to Montenegro from key markets including the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Italy. Its objective is to raise awareness of Montenegro as an attractive tourism destination in these markets by aligning with tour operators’ promotional efforts for Montenegro.

Under this measure, support is outlined across four areas: enhancing MICE tourism capacities, facilitating the organization of international events in Montenegro, supporting study visits for MICE event organizers (hosted buyers), and assisting in bidding for international congresses in Montenegro.

The total allocated funds by NTO CG for these initiatives amount to EUR 610,293.42, aimed at enhancing Montenegro’s tourism attractiveness and infrastructure.
