Kotor will receive a total of 21 cruise ships by the end of the year, according to Maja Danilović, spokesperson for the Port of Kotor. In October, the port recorded 72 arrivals, with 19 scheduled for November and three in December.

“The last major cruise ship is expected on November 19. After that, smaller vessels will continue to operate on standard routes, mainly between Montenegro and Croatia, marking the end of this year’s cruise season,” Danilović told Radio Kotor.

She added that a total of 418 cruise ship arrivals were planned for this year. At a recent Riposto Turismo conference in Ravenna, Kotor was recognized as the second-best cruise destination in the Adriatic.

“We used to rank fourth or third, and now we’ve reached second place. This achievement reflects Kotor’s prominence in the global cruising industry, benefiting our local economy significantly,” concluded Danilović.
