“This line, which represents a significant contribution to the improvement of the tourist offer, not only facilitates easier connectivity between the two cities, but also helps reduce traffic congestion, improves transport infrastructure, and enhances the quality of life for both residents and tourists,” said Radulović.

He added that plans are in place for Dubrovnik to be connected with another coastal city in Montenegro next year, further enriching the offer.

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs will continue to invest in promoting Montenegro as a nautical and maritime destination, as well as in enhancing maritime connectivity.

Establishing new ferry lines between Montenegrin coastal cities and neighboring tourist metropolises is crucial for both tourism and daily transportation, as it allows better connectivity, faster transport, and reduced traffic congestion.

“Our mission is to make travel easier for all citizens and tourists, allowing them to enjoy their stay in Montenegro. Developing maritime transport is a key element of our strategic plan to enhance the tourism offer and encourage sustainable development of our coast,” said Radulović.

Maritime connectivity between Montenegrin cities and neighboring destinations is becoming increasingly important, and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs will continue working on its further expansion to ensure more comfortable and faster travel for both residents and tourists.
