Six companies distributed dividends for the previous year, four for 2022

According to data from Montenegro Stock Exchange, six companies have declared dividends for the previous year, while four companies did so for 2022.

This year, issuers that have decided to distribute dividends for the previous year during their shareholder meetings include Jugopetrol, Crnogorski Telekom, Luka Kotor, Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES), Poslovno-logistički centar (PLC) Morača, and Građevinski nadzor i laboratorijska ispitivanja.

“These companies have reported profits and are distributing a portion of their earnings to shareholders,” the statement noted.

Jugopetrol, Crnogorski Telekom, and CGES have shown consistency by paying dividends for two consecutive years—both for the previous year and 2022.

In contrast, five listed companies—EPCG, Napredak, Sveti Stefan Hotels, Hipotekarna Banka, and Zetatrans—have opted not to pay dividends for the previous year, despite having earned profits. Instead, they chose to redirect their earnings into retained earnings or company reserves.

Additionally, at the annual general meeting of Centrojadran Bar, the proposal to distribute dividends to shareholders was not approved.
